TWIN’S activities in Tollygunge, Dhobiatala and Diamond Harbour:

• Crèche & Kindergarten for children up to 5 years - for grooming them for admission in schools.
• Mainstreaming Children into formal schools.
• Coaching Classes for School going children.
• Support for school fees, uniforms, books, stationery, etc.
• Extracurricular programmes including cultural programmes, sports and celebration of ‘special days’ to promote creative activities.
• Development of special skills in English & Computer Languages besides the conventional education they get in school & college.

Crèche & Kindergarten

TWIN crèche & Kindergarten take care of the children from 6 months to 5 years old while their mothers are working. Children get the opportunity to express themselves and learn through Montessori Method of learning. This department of TWIN takes care of both Physical and Mental development of children.  Nutritional snacks and meals are given to them for their proper growth and nourishment.

Coaching classes

The purpose of these classes is to improve the standard of education of the school-going children and to minimize drop-out rates. This programme focuses on assisting students academically and sustaining their motivation and interest for studies. Special attention is given to each child with the focus to strengthen their skills and develop their interest in specific subjects.

Achievements:

Currently, 189 children are in the Sponsoring Programme in Tollygunge, 63 in Dhobiatala and 150 in Diamond Harbour.
